Program
1st day
Start the morning in 4 × 4 from Ouarzazate to Zagora and the Draa Valley in crossing the Anti-Atlas to the village of Agdez, continuation by the track of the old road caravans in order to get closer to the Palm Grove of the draa Valley and its walled villages. Back on the road to arrive to Zagora And lunch. In the afternoon, starting in 4 × 4 to the village of Mhamid (end of the paved road). Departure by dromedary(2 h) in the desert to join our bivouac located in the dunes of the Erg Lihoudi, walk around the dunes and enjoy a beautiful sunset, dinner and night in camp.
2nd day
Return with dromedaries (2 h) to reach the village of mhamid and lunch. In the afternoon, departure on 4 × 4 with the track for the dunes of Chegaga through 65 km of desert (hamada, erg, reg, oasis…). Arrival to the dunes of Chegaga in the afternoon, walk in the dunes and enjoy a beautiful sunset at the top of the Erg Laabidlia (300 m), dinner and night under nomadic tents.
3rd day
Departure in the morning in 4 × 4 of the dunes of Chegaga for the village of Foum Zguid along the dunes of Chegaga until Lake Iriqui, continuation by the track of the Paris-Dakar to Foum Zguid and lunch. In the afternoon, starting in 4 × 4 for the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (classified world heritage of UNESCO) through Taznakht (village renowned for its manufacture of carpet). Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou during the afternoon, visit to the kasbah, dinner and night at hotel.
4th day
Departure in 4 × 4 for the gorges of Dadès through the oasis of Skoura (passing on the track to find you as close to the palmeraie of Skoura and its fortified villages). Continue by road to the village of Kelaa M’gouna and take the track that crosses the Valley of the roses as the road to the thousand kasbahs we arrive in the late morning at the gorges of Dadès and have breakfast. In the afternoon, walk in Boumalne Dades Valley. Late afternoon arrival in Ouarzazate.
